I’ve been running this domain for a dozen years which in computer time is an epoch, and in 2012 my site was finally hacked. After a delay of a couple of days to rebuild and start over from backup my site was restored and nothing was lost. However this event gave me an opportunity to re-evaluate my entire site.

I hand-coded it in the 1990s when the web was just a hobby and nobody knew if it would really take off. I patched it with new info over the years, a process which became more and more laborious. The hacker did me a favor because I realized that I should really start over anyway and build a modern database-driven site (duh!). So, after building my passion project SecretsinPlainSight.com with WordPress, I knew it was the perfect platform to build my next digital identify out the ashes of my old one. So here it is, the new improved Scott Onstott dot com, rising phoenix-like from the flames.

  2. Hi Scott,
Your video “Secrets in Plain Sight” was very interesting. Re:Freemason symbols, etc. here’s something I found interesting also as I was researching 9/11 and the Pentagon. You show the Phoenix rising…well check this out!

There’s other articles regarding the Pentagon bldg. on the above site also.

Note the pyramid in their logo.

  3. Hi Scott,
It’s great to read your bio and learn about you as a person. I’ve been augmenting my school AutoCAD courses with your AutoCAD Essentials and 3D AutoCAD, among others. I’m going to try your Photoshop. After such a successful life in the material world, it is interesting to learn how you have taken an interest in the cosmic and spiritual. Your film sounds very interesting. For now, I have to stick to the material since computers are still a challenge. I grew up in the ’60s.

Your training videos have been very helpful for me in learning all those skills. You are personable and methodical in your teaching style, which makes it easy to come back to you, to go over why I have to use an arc measurement to extrude a curved wall.

I’m working on interiors and needs to understand lighting interiors. It may be in one of your videos. I could have missed a section.

Although no one is paying me, I like being in school at my age. It’s not exactly like living in an island paradise but not so bad.

May good fortune come to you as you adventure into this new realm. Don’t forget us back here in the ordinary trying to figure out how to inject a little Feng Shui into a dim corner of an interior.
