VIZ Render 2006

Visualization for Architectural Desktop

Autodesk VIZ Render 2006 is a visualization program used in conjunction with models built in Architectural Desktop (ADT). VIZ Render shares much of its toolset with Autodesk VIZ and 3ds max, although they are separate programs that are each increasingly more powerful visualization packages.

This video tutorial starts with a residential design in ADT and teaches you how to link it into VIZ Render where you will learn to render photo-realistic imagery. This tutorial has everything you need to get the most out of VIZ Render:

  • master interactive walkthrough mode
  • substitute high quality 3D furniture models for blocks
  • frame compositions precisely with cameras
  • build complex materials from scratch
  • make photo-realistic lighting with luminaires and radiosity
  • generate 360 degree interactive panoramas
  • use daylight system for accurate sun and shadow
  • produce exterior flyby and interior walkthrough animations

There are 101 videos running a total of 4-3/4 hours in this course. Download the Table of Contents in Excel format.

This tutorial uses Imperial units (feet and inches) and instruction is in English.
